Today I have done a bit work on Eleanor đ !
At first, Elli received some presents:
– Monte Carlo Bar
– Screws for the front lower Crossbar
– Shelby Roll Bar (from MTF)
– Eleanor Style Gas Filler (from MTF)
– Eleanor Style side exhaust Tips (from MTF)
All these Eleanor parts need welding, so I ordered them now – so I can finish all welding before I go on.
Now I mounted several body parts to align them.
At the moment I need to align all these body parts because they need to fit perfect before I weld them in !
What a surprise, the RH side fits much better than the LH side – I thought it would be vice versa.
But this will need a lot more attention.
I mounted:
- Fender LH
- Fender RH
- Hood (the old one, only to align the fenders etc. – after that I will throw it away).
- lower Cowl Panel
- upper Cowl Panel
- Door LH
- Door RH
- Quarter Panel LH
- Quarter Panel RH
- Rear window filler panel
A lot of parts are not fitting very well, so they need more labour.
